It was after ten pm on a Thursday and while we were promised a dry and fresh evening, it had not stopped raining! Mark and me were seated there commenting on the rugby, ready for the sixth fuel drain of the day to come in. I had appreciated a fantastic evening hiking on my afternoon off and felt pleased with myself the following day as I set out to assist a young family who were holidaying in Ringmer.
