AdBlue In your Fuel

All around Birmingham we are noticing a growing number of occurrences of AdBlue contamination wherein a motorist has poured AdBlue inside their diesel tank. This is in part thanks to drivers not being aware of the right way to work with it (be aware: it's in truth not a fuel additive), and partly due to the fact that the filler caps for diesel and AdBlue are usually right next to one another on the car.

Well, exactly what is the trouble with having AdBlue in the diesel vehicle? As the product is mainly deionised water, it is actually just like putting water in your tank. Fuel contaminated with water

Fuel contaminated with water, whether it's unleaded petrol or diesel, is usually an important matter to deal with in a car - particularly in modern-day common-rail engines. Having water in the petrol or diesel will likely produce idling problems, uneven running, abnormal smoke and, if not remedied fully, potentially ruined injectors. Water in petrol is quicker to get rid of as compared with water in diesel - mostly due to the fact that diesel is an oil. Having said that we are able to resolve both cases fairly easily.
