Wrong Fuel in Car Oxenhope - Petrol in Diesel Car Oxenhope
Ahhh, that was a quality night of sleep! 7:00 in the morning on a sunny Bank Holiday Monday and we were en route to assist an elder sweetheart after she had put petrol in her diesel Oxenhope. I'd been advised she had left the filling station forecourt and pulled up in a rural lane on route to pay a visit to her godchildren. I got the location plugged into the TomTom and was with her in less than an hour or so. I arrived at the stricken lady and extracted the contaminated fuel in the car vehicle. While I was doing the drain she said to me, "I have been becoming rather forgetful in my old age and didn't remember about the car working with diesel because I had only just purchased it a short while back when my old car, which I'd owned for about 30 years, eventually stopped working". I finished the job and she presented me a toffee and said thanks a lot. Such a lovely lady!

Wrong Fuel Doctor Oxenhope - Fuel Rescue Oxenhope
This was exactly what is called the graveyard shift. It was around dawn and almost noone was around. It was fairly dead so far, and Paul and I were loafing browsing several old magazines. It was a rare calm time. Actually it was in fact that tranquil that when the telephone eventually rang it made me jump! The customer on the other end said: "I finished my evening shift and stupidly filled petrol in a diesel Oxenhope in error". We instructed him to tell us just where the vehicle was and we left, ending up under an hour or so later. The incorrect fuel was extracted from the engine. He said thanks a lot for showing up so quickly. As we were going back home we noticed two girls on the edge of the street who seemed like they had a flat tyre. Obviously we pulled over to change it, to their elation.
